El Puerto, at 2045 Barracks Road, serves up Mexican Food,  It's a family Restaurant, but there is a steady stream of business from all demographics.   "We have a lot of people from everywhere" said Pablo Avalos, General Manager.  "We have a lot of vegeterian dishes", Avalos said. "We make a lot of things vegetarian".

Avalos said the Restaurant has also been very popular with the region's Hispanic Population. "We serve a lot of dishes that are popular in Mexico and they feel like they are home," Avalos said. "We cook everything like they do in Mexico."

The Restaurant Menu is extensive, with 31 combination dinners, 27 special orders and 31 grilled orders, but Avalos said customers are not limited to what is on the Menu.

"If people like it differently then we prepare it to the customer's request," Avalos said.  He added, "the most popular dish on the menu is fajitas for two, with beef, chicken or shrimp... the vegetable combination dinner was also popular."
